An arm bar leads to some barrel drag with a bat exit velocity of 86 mph. Showcased active feet and confidence in his glove hand defensively with accurate 80 mph arm strength across the diamond. Ran a 7.21 60-yard dash.

6/20/18 - 5-foot-9, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance an uses a lift-and-replace stride to start his swing. Went 2-for-7 at the plate in game action while making hard contact in a number of at bats. Barreled the baseball consistently during a solid round of batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. Ran a 7.63 60-yard dash and showcased accurate 75 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively.

6/27/17 - 5-foot-9, 175-pound primary third baseman displayed across the board improvements in all measurable categories since we last saw him in January. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a short, leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Barreled the baseball consistently in batting practice with a bat exit velocity of 78 mph.  Displayed accurate 72 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively and improved footwork.  Continued work to play through the baseball is necessary.  On the mound the righty sat 73-76 from a high 3/4 arm slot with faint armside run. His 60 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation, 62 mph slider and 65 mph changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed gives him four pitches in his arsenal.

1/28/17 - 5-foot-8, 175-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a short lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Barreled the baseball routinely during a solid round of batting practice with a flat barrel path through the zone and a bat exit velocity of 74 mph. Two-way prospect showcased active feet around the bag at first base with accurate 65 mph arm strength across the diamond. Sat 67-70 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with two-seam run to his fastball. Also displayed a 59 mph curveball with 10/4 rotation and a 63 mph changeup with some sink.
