Physical: 5-foot-7, 140 pounds; Wiry, lean build. 7.18 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Loads straight back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a limited effort from the legs. Showed a short swing path with a late one hand finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; static during pre-pitch while stays low while receiving. Hands are firm with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.21-2.28 pop times. C - 70 MPH.
Physical: 5’7 140 C/OF ran a 7.34 laser timed 60 yard dash. Same stature has room to improve overall size and strength.
Offensively: Starts in an upright stance with his hands high and pushed forward near his head. His loading process allows his hands to drop into slot and fire the barrel into the hitting zone. Has some rigid movements throughout the swing.
Defensively: Receives from a tall 1 knee down stance. Gets into a more traditional squatted stance to make throws to bases. Uses a quick jump turn to get into position to throw to 2nd base.
