Physical: Lean and athletic, 5-foot-9, 170-pound frame with sneaky strength and power in the actions. 6.70 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Bent, balanced stance with an easiness in the setup, hands utilize slight movement at the shoulder and move upwards upon load coupled with a repeatable toe-tap stride for timing mechanism. The swing is extremely short to the hitting zone on a slightly uphill barrel path and then whippy through contact towards a high finish. HIts into a stiff front side with present juice to all fields.. Drove multiple balls off the LCF wall during a solid round with a well above-average 88 MPH exit velocity during batting practice per Trackman.

Defensively: Active feet worked aggressively downhill through the baseball while staying low and powerful on the approach, can cover either gap with a plus first step and projects in CF moving forward. The OF fields the ball inside the left foot utilizing quick and smooth transfers yielding accurate throws to the plate. Gets behind the ball well with natural instincts in the middle of the field. Longer on the arm swing out of a loose and whippy, high 3/4 arm slot. OF - 86 MPH. 

Pitching: RHP used an up-tempo compact delivery while sitting 80-83 T84 mph on the FB with natural cut action late across the zone, worked a 68-71 mph SL out of the same window demonstrating tight bite while landing for strikes. Countered with a 71-73 mph CH thrown on occasion appearing mostly straight at the moment.

5-foot-9, 170-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and uses a toe-tap stride to begin. Showcased very quick hands and an explosive lower half while making loud contact. Swings with intent and creates back spin regularly. Registered a bat exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 6.78 60-yard dash. Showed advanced athleticism defensively with above average carry on throws of 90 mph from the outfield. Also sat 82-84 off the mound from a high 3/4 arm slot with life in the zone. Curveball showed solid depth at 69-72 with 11/5 rotation and changeup had arm-side fade at 76-77.

5-foot-9, 170-pounder continues to show growth in his game with fast twitch actions all over the field. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Displayed an explosive lower half with an ability to create routine backspin. Registered a bat exit velocity of 86 mph and ran a 6.61 60-yard dash. Plays through the baseball routinely defensively with above average carry on throws of 90 mph from the outfield. The righty sat 81-84 off the mound out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a balanced, repeatable delivery. Curveball is a quality offering with 11/5, two-plane action at 71-73. Changeup is thrown with good sell and arm-side run at 76-77.

5-foot-9, 160-pound two-way prospect impressed in all facets of the game over two days. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a toe-tap stride. Showcased balance throughout with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 6.63 60-yard dash. Showed athletic actions defensively with advanced 88 mph arm strength from the outfield. The righty flashed a quick, live arm sitting 82-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot off the mound with some hip swivel to his delivery. Also commanded a slider at 71-76 with late, short break.

2/09/19

5-foot-9, 160-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a bat wiggle at the top of his load, which helped him notch a 79 mph bat-exit velocity and displayed good pop for his frame. Ran a 7.02 60-yard dash. Demonstrated above-average ability to play behind the baseball in the outfield as he recorded throws of 85 mph from his position. Right-handed pitcher delivers 79-81 mph fastballs from an over-the-top arm-slot. Ciotti spun 72-75 mph curveballs that featured 10/5 tilt. Changeups had good sell with arm-side-fade.
