6/24/15 6-foot, 180-pound frame. Pitched entirely from the stretch out of a high three-quarter slot. At times, tried to be too quick to the plate with runners on base, not allowing his arm a chance to catch up. Fastball sat 77-78 for the second straight week, while he showed a better feel for spinning his curveball at 65-66 with solid 11/5 action that he used more as a chase than a grab-a-strike pitch.

Swing has some length, but he showed some pullside pop in BP that he could tap into even more if he were to more fully incorporate his backside into his swing. Posted in-game best home-to-1B time of 4.84. Showcased 83-mph exit velocity and 77-mph arm strength during workout. Defensively, he set up well behind the baseball and gained ground on his throws with a long, over-the-top release.
