2/14/16 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitter displayed a quiet load and short, lift-and-replace stride with a direct swing path. Garner showed above average feel for the barrel and creates above average barrel whip (90 mph) with solid lower half action. The junior ran a 7.03 60-yard dash and displayed capable actions defensively with an accurate 79 mph arm from the outfield.

11/7/15 5-foot-11, 175-pound right-handed hitter. Starts from an open stance and strides to slightly open. Got his hands to a good launch position, kept his head still, took a fairly short path, and barreled the baseball during his BP round. Showed some ability to drive the baseball (90-mph exit velocity) and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Defensively, his throws from an over-the-top slot travel true with peak arm strength of 79-mph.
2/14/15 Garner is a solidly built 5-foot-11, 175-pound prospect that ran a 7.25 60-yard dash and showed athleticism defensively with an accurate 79 mph arm from the outfield. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a solid hip turn to create above average barrel whip with a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. The sophomore has a bit of barrel wrap in his load position that causes him to have to rush at times to the hitting zone. When on time the ball jumps of his barrel and power potential is evident.
1/17/15 Garner flashed an 88 mph bat exit velocity and good extension to his swing from the right side of the plate. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound sophomore starts from a slightly open stance and uses a lift and replace stride to generate barrel whip with a quiet lower half. Garner gets to the hitting zone well and has plenty of lift to his finish, but will need to continue to work on staying in the hitting zone for a longer period of time. Garner showed athletic actions defensively with a 79 mph outfield arm that includes a bit of wrist wrap to his throwing motion. He completed his well-rounded day by running a 7.25 60-yard dash.
