6-foot-5, 235-pound thick body frame. From the mound he uses regular effort to his delivery. Has some hip load that he uses to initiate his lower half. Lands in a straight line at foot strike, carrying his momentum with good direction, toward home plate. Throws with average arm speed through a ¾ slot. Fastball ranged from 78-82 mph and was able to maintain velocity from the stretch. Curveball has mostly gradual break with 10/5 tilt at 66-69 mph. Showcased a changeup using fastball arm speed, with good deception to the pitch at 73 mph.
6/15/16 6-foot-5, 230-pound righty sat 80-82 with some arm-side run from a 3/4 arm slot. Also relied heavily on a 69 mph slurve with 10/4 rotation during three innings of scoreless work that included three strikeouts. Stayed down in the zone consistently leading to five ground ball outs. Very basic delivery with limited lower half drive projects for added velocity moving forward.
