Physical: 5-foot-11, 200LBS. Muscular, sturdy frame. Fairfield Commit.
Pitching: RHP. Works strictly out of the stretch. Begins somewhat centered on the rubber, with the lead foot pointed back towards 2B. Hands stay close to chest height up till glove break. Slow, gradual leg lift, follow by a strong drive down the mound. The arm circle is small due to bend in the elbow and works without restrictions. High 3/4 arm slot. FB sat 88-90MPH and topped at 91MPH. Paired with CB and CH. Leg lift is lower on CH, will be important to correct before getting to the next level.
Physical: Athletic, physical 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame with a next level starter’s build and plenty of strength in the lower half. Fairfield commit.
Pitching: RHP - Good feel for pace and tempo on the bump with plenty of confidence in his stuff. Fastball worked from 84-86 T87 with arm-side run and play up in the zone. Tunneled a tight 11/5 shaped curveball at 72-74 mph with two-plane action and dropped in a 78-79 mph CH at near fastball arm-speed. Competes on the mound.
5-foot-10, 185-pound right-hander sat 83-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a repeatable, balanced delivery. Sits hard on his back side and uses his lower side to create arm whip. Curveball is an advanced pitch at 71-73 with hard down action and two-plane break. Changeup is a quality third offering at 78-80 with arm-side run. Sturdy, athletic frame is capable of handling starter innings at the next level.
5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter starts from a narrow, square stance and uses a lift-and-replace stride to begin. Showcased a line drive approach at the plate with a bat exit velocity of 88 mph. Ran a 7.19 60-yard dash and displayed an ability to play through the baseball from the outfield with 87 mph arm strength. The righty sat 81-83 on the mound out of a high 3/4 arm slot. Repeats delivery well with balance throughout. Also commanded a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 66-67.
5-foot-10, 165-pound righty sat 78-80 from a high 3/4 arm action with a short take away and significant fall to the first base side. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 59-61 and changeup at 70-73 was thrown at near fastball arm speed with some cut action. Athletic frame with room to add strength. Some work to lengthen take away and to stay more directional should lead to additional velocity in the coming years.
