 Offensively: RHH. Upright, slightly open; medium leg kick. average effort with quick hands, attacks the ball on the way up; 21 degree bat angle into the zone via Blast Motion. Korn is able to produce 7.9 G’s of force with an on-plane efficiency of 56%.  Hard contact up the middle; average Trackman exit velocity of 80 MPH; peak exit velo was 95 MPH.

 Defensively: Wide, low to the ground; choppy approach of the ball, stays low. fields it in the middle of his body and gets rid of it with a quick transfer; plenty of arm for the corners, long arm swing with a high 3/4 arm slot.  INF - 88 MPH. 

Pitching: Sets up slightly left of center on the rubber, small side step into a clean, high leg kick, repeats. Long take back with a high 3/4 arm slot. FB: T 86 MPH, 84-85 MPH. Shows life through the zone. CB: 72-73 MPH. Showed a sharp,11-5 break.  

5-foot-10, 190-pounder impressed with a well-rounded skill set that should make him a sought after prospect in the coming year. The primary pitcher sat 85-87 from a high 3/4 arm slot starting from a controlled side rocker step. Curveball at 67-72 showed two-plane biting action that was late. Also worked a cutter off the fastball at 82-84 that could become a very effective pitch with adjustments to the grip. Changeup at 78-79 was thrown at fastball arm speed with even more cut. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and initiates his swing with a leg-lift stride. Showcased balance throughout with a middle of the field approach while staying behind the baseball. Registered a bat exit velocity of 92 mph and ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Finished off an impressive performance by showcasing athletic actions at third base with 90 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Broad shouldered, 5-foot-10, 185-pound junior sat 83-84 from a high 3/4 arm slot with short arm-side run to his fastball. Curveball is an above average pitch with consistent 12/6 bite and solid command. Changeup at 76-77 and changeup at 78-80 have similar action to round out a solid assortment of pitches. The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing from a high hands load. Displayed balance throughout with a feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 87 mph and ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. 84 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively is enough to remain on the left side of the diamond at the next level. Body type is best suited however for a move to third base.

5-foot-10, 165-pound primary pitcher sat 79-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot with natural cut action to his fastball. Repeats his delivery well and stays inline with a feel for three pitches. Curveball at 65-67 showed tight 11/5 rotation and was thrown for strikes in all counts. Displayed above average feel for his changeup at 75-77 with heavy cut. Understands how to pitch and uses all three pitches with confidence

5-foot-10, 165-pound righty sat 81-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot starting his delivery with a short, side-rocker step. Delivery is balanced and repeatable with signs that additional velocity is coming. Also showed feel for a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 63-66 and a slider with shorter break at 75-79. A quality changeup with good arm speed at 75-77 shows some late sink and gives Korn a solid four pitch mix.

5-foot-10, 165-pound two-way prospect. Primary pitcher sat 80-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot. Displayed balanced, repeatable mechanics with a feel for four pitches. Curveball at 64-68 showed 11/5 rotation. Changeup thrown at near fastball arm speed sat 72-76. Cutter at 74-75 is an effective compliment to his fastball coming out of the same window.

5-foot-10, 165-pound two-way prospect. The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg hang stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a line drive approach with a 76 mph bat exit velocity. Ran a 7.07 60-yard dash and showcased accurate 76 mph arm strength across the diamond defensively. The primary pitcher topped at 81 mph during his bullpen session.

5-foot-10, 165-pound primary pitcher sat 79-82 from a high 3/4 arm slot initiating his delivery with a side-rocker step. Showcased 4-seam and 2-seam delivery on his fastball and on his changeup at 70-72. Cutter at 66-69 displayed late sink. The right-handed hitter starts from an open stance and utilizes a leg-hang stride to initiate his swing. Showcased developing defensive skills as a middle infielder with accurate 77 mph arm strength across the diamond.
