Physical: 5-foot-11, 165 pounds; Lean, long build. 7.38 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Short take back with the hands with a toe-tap for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a moderate swing path with a late one hand finish. More line drives than fly balls and ground balls with a peak exit velocity of 85 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a compact setup; utilizing a traditional primary position while staying low during receiving. Hands are soft while staying low during transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.22-2.34 pop times. C - 71 MPH.
Physical: Lean, projectable 5-foot-11, 165lb frame with natural strength carried in the movements. 7.38 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Balanced, even stance at a slightly bent position in the knees; high hands start and initiated using a deliberate lift and replace stride down on the ground early before launching through a flat path into the hitting zone. Quick hands that stayed inside the baseball, turning on the inner half down the LF line on occasion. Hard contact sprayed from line to line, hitting it where it was pitched to the tune of a T83 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman Baseball. A 56% line drive rate played well and points to future ability to hit for some AVG at the plate.
Defensively: The primary backstop featured a narrow, compact crouch position at traditional utilizing a soft glove hand to operate on the corners; pop times ranged from 2.07-2.16 staying low in the posture, under the catch with ability to get the legs involved. Replaced the feet quickly and released from clean H ¾ slot (72 mph arm, on the bag).
Physically: 5’11 165lb C ran a 7.75 laser timed 60 yard dash. Athletic build has quick twitch movements and some strength in his game.
Offensively: Starts with a wide base and high hands that have some quick movements. His hands load and fall into the slot to fire the barrel into the hitting zone. The barrel gets in the zone quickly and works uphill Through the ball.
Defensively: Receives from a 1 knee down set up. Gets into a more traditional squatted stance when preparing to make throws to bases. As he receives the pitch, his feet replace themselves and he works a short short arm swing on his throws.
