Physical: Durable, above-average 6-foot-2, 195lb frame. 7.62 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wider, tall stane, as the hands showed pre-pitch rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a short, immediate lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through a flat path into the hitting zone. Lifted two-handed finish on the backside producing fly ball approach for distance to the LCF gap. Thick lower half sequenced properly and created heavy contact at the front of the plate; 86 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak.
Defensively: The third baseman demonstrated average feel around the bag with developing posture at the fielding window. Funneled softly inward and kept the feet shuffling to the target; 78 mph arm-strength across the diamond.
Pitching: RHP. The righty attacked from a violent release at 75-78 mph with some drop/drive present. Mixed backdoored, mid-60’s curve and fading 65-67 mph CH for strikes. Some raw parts, but more velocity to be had.
Physical: 6-foot-2, 195 pounds; Lean, proportional build. 7.78 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a flat swing path with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 84 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 77 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly closed. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; high 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 78 MPH, while sitting 76-78 MPH; straight action. CB: 62-63 MPH; 11-5 shape. CH: 64-65 MPH; fading action.
