6/20/17 Folmar has gained strength and size since he was last seen. He now stands 6-2, 190 pounds. Although he did not have best day in game action Strength gains appear to have translated to improved bat speed. Defensively, agility has not been compromised by body changes. Range and lateral quickness have been maintained as evidenced by Folmar playing innings at shortstop during his spring high school season.
6/15/16 6-foot, 160-pound left-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a leg lift stride to initiate his swing. Flashed loose hands and a feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 83 mph in a very solid round of batting practice. Continued to impress with the bat by going 5-for-7 with a double and a triple in game action. Showcased capable defensive actions with accurate 80 mph arm strength across the diamond.
