4/15/16 Still working out the kinks after missing more than a full calendar year of mound time. Fastball sat 84-87 in the first two innings before settling at 83-85. Hand break with glove push toward third base line led to some front arm swim that spun him offline and caused fastball to ride high more often that during his strong freshman season. Fastball had late armside action when he found the groove with it in the second inning. Showed a good feel for a solid 11/5 curveball with depth at 70-71, while also mixing in a change-up at 78-79.
8/2/14 The lone member of the Class of 2017 to participate on the Team Pennsylvania roster, Gorman showcased the two way abilities that earned him a roster spot. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound sophomore showcased a 79 mph infield arm and an 86 mph bat exit velocity. Gorman was especially impressive on the mound topping at 85 mph and commanding a tight breaking 73 mph curveball. The righty worked two innings yielding one hit while striking out two.
5/24/14 Saw for two innings. FB 83-86 (including multiple 86s from the stretch).  Feel for CB at 68-69 and good sell on CH with sink at 73-74.
4/26/14 Medium frame, 3/4 slot. 4-seam FB 85-86, 2-seam 83-84 with late run. Fields position well and started two 1-6-3 DP (also a right-handed hitting SS). Very good 11/5 CB at 68-69 with some depth. Occasion CH at 73-75. Stuff flattened out when pulled front side off line and arm dragged. Has a chance to be really, really good. Will pitch for Team PA at PBR Future Games this summer.
11/2/13 The youngest of the middle infielders in attendance, Gorman was also the most impressive. He sat 84-85 off the mound demonstrating his two-way abilities. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitter started from an open stance and exhibited good pre-swing rhythm in his round of batting practice. He showed solid bat speed (87mph exit velocity), a short path, and an advanced feel at his age for creating backspin. On defense, Gorman's feet, hands, and arm (82 mph across the diamond) would all be quality for a high school senior, let alone a player who has yet to play a high school game, while he completed the slow roller play with ease.
