Physical: Lean, athletic 6-foot-3, 170lb frame which has seen big time growth over the past year+. 7.04 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Started from a simple, even setup at shoulder-width while showing slight rhythm at the shoulder. Utilized a short, quick toe-tap stride in order to initiate the bat head through a flat, controlled path into the hitting zone. Stayed behind the baseball with quick hip rotation yielding strong pull-side contact during batting practice; flashed ready hands in the box (23 mph hand speed via Blast Motion) and developed rotational power (20 G’s average) while matching pitch plane early in ball flight. Projects to hold a top of the order role with ability to strike for extra-base hits. Carried momentum over to game action with a multitude of barrels from a confident approach (middle of the field).
Defensively: Approached with lots of length and feel for his body in space; stuck the foot in the ground and made decisions, getting around the ball with banana routes to either side. Accurate, soft glove hand played out in front of the right foot and handled good pace towards the target on the release (high ¾, fluid) working up to 81 mph with some carry. Should be able to handle the centerfield position moving forward.

The right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a short, direct swing path with a middle of the field approach and a solid feel for the barrel. Registered a bat exit velocity of 76 mph and ran a 7.82 60-yard dash. Played through the baseball routinely defensively with 72 mph arm strength from the outfield.
