4/15/15 FB sat 86-89 with late life. Tight 11/5 CB at 72-74. Also used 76-77 slider with late break.
4/28/14 Ocker sat 87-88 through six innings touching 89 mph a half-dozen times early. His slider showed good depth at 77-78 while the righty also flashed an occasional cutter at 83 mph.
4/19/14 Ocker's 1st fastball of the day registered 90 mph and his final pitch in the 6th inning registered 88 mph. His low 80s cutter is a quality second pitch, while he also commanded his curveball and changeup.
2/23/13 Ocker showed potential as a two-way player with athletic actions and throws of 82 mph across the diamond. The 6-foot-1, 160-pound sophomore showcased raw offensive skills with a bat exit velocity of 84 mph. With continued development of his swing mechanics and physical maturation, Ocker could garner interest as a two-way player at the next level. Ocker is definitely a pitcher to watch in the Class of 2015. He sat 84-85 with an over the top throwing motion from the mound. His 75 mph knuckle/curveball has good late break and he also showcased the makings of a quality cutter at 77 mph. Ocker's 76 mph changeup lacks any significant movement and will need to be developed.
