Showed the ability to be athletic at the plate, consistently found barrels, and notched a bat exit velocity of 69 mph. Demonstrated athleticism behind the plate with soft walls while blocking. His 63 mph arm-strength from the crouch, long transfer, and 2.37-2.51 pop times will only improve as he grows and matures. Right-handed pitcher begins from a high 3/4 arm-slot with a short takeaway. Offensively, initiates swing from neutral set up with short controlled stride staying neutral. Shows good balance and hands work well to baseball. There was solid barrel feel with squaring of multiple balls in bp session. Separation is adequate. Weight shift is passive and there is length. Leverage is achieved at contact with extension through the baseball.
Defensively, Drift is present in framing. A soft wall and good upper body angle are demonstrated in blocking. Transfer and throwing motion have length
