Physical: 6-2, 196 pounds; Long, Sturdy build.
Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Spins off 1B side with finish. FB: Peak velo of 88 MPH, while sitting 86-88 MPH; life through the zone. CB: 73-76 MPH; late action. Showed A/AVG spin rates with command.
Physical: Proportional, projectable 6-foot, 170lb frame. 7.60 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Taller, open stance, as the barrel waved in front of the chest to begin the stance. Utilized a short lift and replace stride back to even to initiate the swing through a flat path towards a two-handed finish. Recorded a T88 mph bat-exit velocity and drove the ball on occasion when getting extended (233 max distance). Lived on a line and could spray contact inside the ball through the middle of the field, missing with loft to pull-side.
Defensively: The outfielder chopped the feet early and stalked the ball, letting it travel on the touch. Fielded softly off his left side and created momentum towards the plate. Released from a full arm-action, H ¾ slot up to 84 mph from his position.
Pitching: RHP - Begins from the left side; Windup, quick pace and a higher leg lift allow the body to move fast, unwinding downwards through a H ¾ release. The FB entered at 82-84 mph, landing for strikes at a 60% clip. Mixed a tilted 70-71 mph CB that swept late to the glove-side, and showed off a developing 76-77 mph CH with fade here and there.
