6/18/14 DeWalt sat 83-85 with his 4-seam fastball out of a high 3/4 arm slot. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound righty also flashed an 81-82 mph 2-seam fastball with cutting action. DeWalt displayed command of a 72 mph curveball with 11/5 rotation and a 73 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed. He was able to induce six ground ball outs while striking out two in three innings of work. The two-way prospect ran a 7.31 60-yard dash and showcased an 84 mph bat exit velocity while going 2-for-7 at the plate in game action.

2/16/14 DeWalt put together one of the top bullpen sessions of the day. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound righty sat 85-87 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with a deceiving high knee lead leg and substantial arm side run. DeWalt also showed a feel for his 72 mph curveball with 11/5 break and a 78 mph changeup thrown at fastball arm speed. The junior has a solid frame and showed athleticism on Day One as an infielder.

2/15/14 DeWalt showcased an 84 mph throwing arm and the ability to play through the baseball defensively. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound two-way prospect ran a 4.29 home-to-1B and showed a balanced swing with an 88 mph bat exit velocity from the right side of the plate. DeWalt barreled the baseball routinely and showed the ability to drive the baseball to all fields during his round of batting practice.
