1/17/15 Guckin showcased a new hitting approach that he has been working on for the past month. The right-handed hitter now starts from a square, wide base and uses a knee bend load to initiate his lower half with no stride. He displayed the ability to barrel the baseball middle and away with authority, but struggled with balls on the inner half. He ran a 7.42 60-yard dash and served notice that he belongs on the short list of the top catchers in the 2016 class in Pennsylvania.
