1/6/18 Defensively, hands are soft and there is commitment to working out front and bottom up. Range is above average correlating to obvious quick twitch skills also reflected in 4.34 home to first time. Transfer is long and benefit would be gained from being more aggressive in attacking and playing through baseball. Raw skill set has makings of above average defender.

Offensively, initiates swing from neutral set up with no stride. There is an excellent feel for barrel with repeated squaring of ball. There is good weight shift with appropriate backside release into firm front side. There is some top half dive and very subtle dropping of hands prior to working toward ball. Benefit would be gained from maintaining posture though out and avoiding downward hand movement. A bat exit velocity of 83 mph was recorded.
