Fastball sat 76-79, touching 81 mph. Also featured a change-up at 73-75 with some dive to it and a curveball at 67-69 that lacked significant tilt.

2/12/17 5-foot-10, 165-pound right-handed hitter who ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Slightly open stance with no hand load. Can get to extension early, but flashes solid bat speed (85 mph exit velocity) when he's on time. Defensively, he exhibited accurate 85 mph arm strength out of an over-the-top slot.

1/28/17 time at the Preseason All-State Showcase. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and initiates his swing with a lift-and-replace stride. He showcased a short, repeatable swing with a solid feel for the barrel leading to an 82 mph bat exit velocity. Beimel ran a 7.15 60-yard dash and displayed athletic actions defensively with 84 mph arm strength from the outfield.
