2/15/14 Marrollo is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect with a high-energy approach to the game. The junior showcased fluid actions defensively with an accurate 84 mph arm to home plate. Marrollo used a square stance with no stride and a short swing path to create a bat exit velocity of 83 mph. He barreled the baseball consistently in his round of batting practice and showcased his foot speed with a 4.01 home-to-1B time.
8/3/13 Marrollo is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect that brings high energy to the park every day. He showcased athletic actions in the outfield and an 83 mph throwing arm. Marrollo's 7th inning RBI single helped fuel a Team PA rally in a 7-4 loss to Team Ohio. He also showcased his foot speed swiping several bases during the course of the event.
2/23/13 Marrollo is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound prospect who showed good foot speed with a 4.08 home-to-first time. He displayed the ability to play through the baseball and throws of 81 mph to home plate. Marrollo hits out of a square stance with a compact swing that results in consistent line drives. Marrollo's ability to play the outfield in addition to his primary position behind the plate make him an interesting prospect to follow in the coming years.
1/26/13 Marrollo showcased well in all facets of the game. He displayed good carry on throws of 81 mph from the outfield. The 5-foot-9, 165-pound sophomore turned in a very solid round of batting practice. He used a very short, compact line drive swing to consistently square the baseball to all fields. Marrollo displayed advanced receiving and blocking skills behind the plate. He showed 2.20-2.25 pop times on throws of 75 mph out of the crouch. His energy and passion for the game was evident throughout the course of the event.
