Amedure

Amedure is a 2015 SS/RHP who attends West Allegheny HS.  He hit .315 with a .378 OBP and 8 SB while also posting a 1.78 ERA and 41 K in 43.1 IP on his way to all-section honors as a sophomore.

5/30/14 Amdedure flashed two-way potential on a big stage. In front of over 3,000 fans in attendance the 5-foot-7, 150-pound junior barreled the baseball in all four trips to the plate against upper 80's velo finishing with two doubles and two runs scored on the night. Amedure also was impressive on the mound sitting 83-84 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with very tight rotation to his 73 mph curveball. The diminutive two-way prospect worked the final five innings of an extra inning affair for the win yielding no runs with one hit allowed and six strikeouts.
