The junior threw three pitches for strikes out of a high 3/4 arm slot during his bullpen session. His best pitch was a change up thrown at near fastball arm speed with arm side run.

10/9/12 Potutschnig showcased well in all facets of the game. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound 3B/RHP displayed soft hands and a solid arm on throws of 76mph across the diamond. He topped at 76mph with a 66mph curveball out of a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound. Potutschnig used a short stroke and a solid lower half to consistently square the baseball during his round of batting practice.
8/22/12 Potutschnig is a 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect with a solid frame. He ran a 7.42 60-yard dash and threw 73mph across the infield. The two-way player utilized a 71mph bat exit speed velo to consistently square the baseball to all fields during his round of batting practice. On the mound he topped at 78mph out of an over the top arm slot. His curveball had an 11/5 break with tight rotation at 65mph. Potutschnig also displayed a solid 70mph changeup with good arm side run.
