9/15/13 Craven continued to swing a hot stick going 1-for-2 in game action at Slippery Rock University. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound prospect has been consistent at the plate all fall, showcasing an ability to use all fields. Craven has shown the ability to shorten his swing and consistently finds a way to drive in runs when hitting with runners in scoring position.
9/8/13 Craven is a very hard worker and has an infectious attitude on the baseball diamond. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound uncommitted senior has shown continual improvement over the past 12 months and the results are evident. He went 3-for-4 with a double in game action at Mansfield University.

8/18/13 Craven went 1-for-3 with a double in game action, getting robbed of a 2nd hit on a diving catch in center field. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound uncommitted senior showed solid actions at 1B and an 81 mph bat exit velocity at the plate.
6/12/13 Craven showed solid footwork and a 75 mph arm across the infield during defensive evaluations. The 6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitter creates an 85 mph bat exit velocity utilizing an open stance and a leg lift trigger. Craven displayed some gap power during his round of batting practice and went on to go 1-for-5 in game play over the course of the two days.
2/23/13 Craven is a 6-foot-3, pound right-handed hitter who showcased an open stance and a big weight transfer in his swing. Craven generates a lot of barrel whip and an 87 mph bat exit velocity. With the amount of movement in his swing he relies on timing and good hand action to be on time to the baseball. When he puts it all together the ball jumps off his bat. Craven showed good feet and agility around the bag at first base. He showed good carry on throws of 76 mph across the diamond and turned in a 4.28 home-to-first time.
1/26/13 Craven has been a regular at PBR events since our initial event in June of 2012. He has impressed at every stop and continues to work to get better. Craven showed an improved arm across the infield at 77 mph to go along with good footwork and soft hands around first base. Offensively he used a strong lower half and good hands to square baseballs regularly to all fields. Craven is an extremely hard worker and should continue to see improvements in all facets of his game.
1/5/13 Craven continued to impress with a good glove and solid footwork at first base. He had an excellent round of batting practice showing good rhythm to his swing, a solid lower half and good extension. Craven has good hands and squares the baseball consistently in a power position leading to his ability to drive the baseball.
10/9/12 Craven ran a 7.50 60-yard dash and displayed a 79mph bat exit speed. Craven also impressed with sound defensive actions at first base. Offensively, Craven used his 6-foot-3, 175-pound frame to spray line drives to all fields during a solid round of batting practice.
9/24/12 Craven showcased well in the early portion of the day on Saturday, but he saved his best for game action. Craven had a 1-for-3 outing with a double in the Red Team's Game #1 win. He then followed that up with a 3-for-4 performance in the Red Team's Sunday victory with a triple and four RBI. Craven was named as the Red Team's MVP for his efforts.
8/15/12 Craven did not do anything to overwhelm scouts, but he stands out. At 6-foot-3, 175-pounds he is likely to mature into a solid corner infielder’s body. Craven ran a 7.62 60-yard dash, threw 72mph from his position and had a bat exit speed of 79mph. His batting practice round was solid and he had the best glove of the day at first base, but it is his wide eyed attitude about being on a baseball field that makes him a player to watch develop.
