6/14/17 6-foot-2, 195-pounder pitched out of a high three-quarter slot and was around the zone with his arsenal. Fastball had some action when down in the zone, although the velocity of 73-75 was significantly off from the 78-81 that he showed in February at the Preseason All-State Showcase. Likewise, his previously low-70s curveball was loopier at 64-65 on this day.
2/12/17 Projectable, athletic 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame. Right-hander sat 78-81 from a high 3/4 arm slot with a balanced, repeatable delivery. Curveball sat 70-71 with 11/5 rotation with good arm speed and his changeup flashed heavy fade at 75 mph. Athletic delivery with more room to fill out projects for added velocity in short order.
6/29/16 6-foot-2, 185-pounder repeats a clean delivery and pitches out of an over-the-top slot. Fastball sat 77-79 with occasional cut action. Best secondary pitch was a solid change-up at 73-74 with good sink and occasional fade. Also showed a curveball at 64-66 that lacked bite when elevated, but flashed solid 12/6 action when down in the zone.
