Physical: Lengthy, projectable 5-foot-11, 145lb frame with some athleticism. 7.14 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Upright, open stance from a narrow start as the hands showed high above the shoulder. Utilized a short leg lift stride, connecting to the ground at an even position before initiating through a flat path into the hitting zone. Stayed inside the baseball with good bat to ball skills and a mostly top of the order approach, working singles to both gaps occasionally spraying loud contact for extra-bases. Posted a T86 mph bat-exit velocity via Trackman and added a 43% line drive rate / 300 foot batted ball during his round.
Defensively: The primary shortstop featured quality footwork, keeping the pace moving with momentum through the bag. Accurate, soft glove hand that scooped up anything within range, using trusted lateral movements in either direction. ¾ release with a moderate takeaway, dropping down more on the run (T80 mph arm).
Pitching: RHP - Started off the middle/left side of the rubber with a pause at a medium side rocker; got to a balanced position at the top of the stack (slightly coiled, high) driving down with flexibility into footstrike from whippy H ¾. The FB ranged 81-83 mph with natural arm-side run in on RHH (12+ inches AVG HM via Trackman) countering with some feel for a 69-71 mph SL showing horizontal tilt, biting off the plate for strikeouts in ADV counts. Two way skillset flashing with an intriguing look on the mound.
