Offensively: RHH - Balanced, upright stance with a minor bend in the knees as the hands showed rhythm to start. Utilized a short toe tap stride showing good direction towards the pitcher, initiating the bat head through a flat path into the hitting zone while working into a stiff/adjustable front side. Found success through the middle of the field when staying in the legs, working his way up to a T88 mph bat-exit velocity at his peak per Trackman Baseball. Easy bat-speed from a high intent approach, notching a max of T76 mph (per Blast Motion) coupled with developing B2B skills at the plate.
Defensively: The third baseman featured active, downhill footwork approaching the ball at a narrow position fielding off the left side. Funneled inward with clean glove actions, releasing from a loose high ¾ slot after multiple ready shuffles at the target (78 mph arm). Comfortable moving to his left side primarily and dropped down to the side on the slow roller play.
