He barreled up some balls with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Smooth in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 72 mph; showed consistent feet, consistent hands, and a clean exchange. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front. Had a high ¾ slot and a consistent arm action with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.5. Hit: (RHH) Athletic. Began in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then used a controlled stride. Quick bat speed. High finish, uphill swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity, average 72.71 mph. 70.35 mph bat speed average. 20.10 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Consistent hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Smooth. Movements laterally were developing and he fields the ball out front.
Arm: 72 mph infield velocity. Consistent arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 7.50 (60-yard).
5-foot-8, 180-pound, strong solid athletic frame. Strength in hands and wrists. A right-handed hitter, front foot starts slightly open, hands are held higher, loose above the shoulders. The lower half is under control, slight step in across the body. The hands are loose and work freely through the hitting zone, barrel has life and whip out front on contact, tee exit velocity was clocked at 86 mph. Defensively, solid clean actions at third base, working low to the ground, arm was clocked at 71 mph across the diamond. Moved extremely well to glove side starting the double plays. Worked out at first base, quick feet off the bag, footwork is advanced. Solid looking young player, look for big things from this one.
