Started in an athletic crouched stance with a small smooth load, then used a short controlled stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a short simple swing plane and level finish. Produced loud contact and found some barrels. Line drive approach. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; showed soft hands, smooth quick feet, and a twitchy transfer. he had a pop time of 2.09-2.14. Tons of flexibility and athletic wide setup. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.78. A plus runner, quick stats, gets off the blocks quick. Good looking young athlete.
