7/28/20

6-foot-6, 215-pound right-handed pitcher. The frame is long and lanky, and very projectable to fill out. The fastball sat 91-92 mph with life and run. The spin pitch is slurvy at 80-81 mph. The changeup is a developing pitch. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is slightly above 3/4. The tempo is solid and he explodes with arm speed. He showed coil at the top of the lift and then is direct to foot strike. There is more to come in velocity and he shows a very good feel for throwing his spin pitch for strikes. He was impressive.

7/17/19

6-foot-6, 200 pound tall, loose, athletic right handed pitcher with long legs and a large build. Even at the large build, you can see that there is room for him to add mass and become stronger. He throws from an over the top slot and the arm is loose and has clean actions. He shows flexibility for a tall guy and gets great extensions after release. The fastball has late life and looks easy coming out of the hand at  85-87 mph. His curveball is soft at 72 mph, but could be worked on to be a deadly weapon, shows to have depth and a later break. His changeup was most impressive at 78-81 mph with good deception and sink. He has tons of upside and can see him being a late bloomer with a big time arm, high follow.

11/07/18

6-foot-6, 190-pound, wide, large, athletic frame. The neck is long, shoulders are sloped, with back being wide has room for future development. A right-handed pitcher, who has a monster ceiling, arm is super loose and clean. The delivery is repeatable, higher leg kick, with coil at the peak, clean separation, lands slightly across the body, gets extension out front on release. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, front glove could track a bit more. The fastball was clocked at 83 mph, with a ton more in there, baseball comes out of his hand with ease. The breaking ball was clocked at 64-67 mph, needs more hand speed to it, could turn it into a slider at some point. The changeup has a chance to be a potential out pitch at some point. Thrown with fastball hand speed, looks like a fastball, with fade and depth as it reaches the plate. Clocked at 76-77 mph, will be able to get both right-handed and left-handed hitters out. Love the projection, big time arm and frame, get out and see him.
