6-foot-1, 165 pounds, average athletic frame with plenty of room to fill out, the actions and movements are smooth and shows to have good athletic ability. A two-way guy showed well on both sides of the field. Off the mound, this right handed pitcher has a simple easy delivery, the hands start and stay high throughout, the separation is on time and the direction is in line for the most part. The front side has minimal pull and he gets squared up when he releases the baseball. The arm action has average length and works out of a ¾ to high ¾ slot. The fastball was located down in the zone, clocked at 75-77 mph, the change up is by far his best pitch clocked at 68-71 mph and comes out of the same slot as the fastball, it has depth to it. Breaking ball was clocked at 65-67 mph with proper tilt to it. Offensively hits from the right side, the feet are even at shoulder width apart, has a taller stance, the hands are set just above shoulder height with the bat flat on the back shoulder. The timing has a small controlled leg kick, he shifts the weight back with not much hand separation, the swing is level to up with a one handed finish. Approach was more middle to pull and has above average power for his age. The swing creates lift and backspin to the baseball. Defensively worked out in the outfield, has a strong arm that was clocked at 81 mph. Transfer is more of a shuffle opposed to stepping through, this will help with gaining ground towards his target. Projects for me as a serious 3-pitch guy with the ability to swing the bat, big time follow.
