5-foot-7, 165 pounds, average proportions and build, Croteau has continually added strength to the frame over the past few seasons, which has contributed to the positive development in that time. Ran a 7.45 sixty yard dash. Offensively, the approach is simple and the swing is compact, spraying line drives middle-pull during batting practice. Times pitches with a toe tap. Fluid hands that work from the shoulders and through the zone helped him work through two good rounds of batting practice work. Smooth, level bat path with an easy one hand finish. Controlled and balanced in the box as the feet set evenly. Present bat-to-ball skills. His tee exit velocity was measured at 80 MPH. In the long run, his defensive skills profile him as a second baseman. The arm is average, and was clocked at 78 MPH across the diamond, coming from between a high ¾ and overhand slot. The feet work in unison with the body and glove, but quickening the actions is the next step in his middle of the diamond development. Showed comfort on double play transfers during infield drills. Calling players a gamer can be cliche, but in Croteau’s case, it is an apt description of the way he plays the game. Under the radar as a 2019 second base prospect.

Arm Velocity: 78 mph

5-foot-7, 160-pound left-handed hitting infielder. Threw 80 mph across the diamond with an athletic approach to the ground ball. The glove is solid and he is in good position with his feet to make all the throws. The slot is short enough to handle the pivot well and second base. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 79 mph. The stance is athletic, there is effort in the swing. The contact is hard and he attempts to stay inside the ball. Needs to get physically stronger to aid the development of the bat. Solid skill set that should play nicely as he matures in age.
Tee Exit Velocity- 79 mph
INF Velocity- 80 mph
5-foot-7, 150-pound, smaller frame, hands and wrists have strength and quickness to them. The feet are quick, shows to have first step quickness, out of the box and defensively. A left-handed hitter, the stance is even, feet slightly wider than shoulder width, with hands setting above the shoulder with some tilt to bat. The swing is down to up, hands stay inside the baseball shoots it to all fields. The finish is high with two hands. The head stays behind the barrel on contact, lower body is under control, uses a small controlled leg kick for timing. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph, baseball comes off harder than the reading, has life to it. Time down the line was 4.50. Defensively, has good actions to both sides, more of a second baseman, hands are soft out front with minimal wasted movement and time throughout the transfer. The arm action is short, works out of a higher slot, arm was clokced at 80 mph. Solid gamer, good follow, prototypical leadoff or two hole hitter.
Home-first: 4.50
Exit Velocity: 77 MPH
Arm Velocity: 80 MPH

5-foot-7, 160-pound left-handed hitting infielder. The glove and prep steps are appropriately to the position. The arm has plenty of strength to it, 76 mph across the diamond. Fast feet and good athleticsm. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 72 mph. The set up of the swing is feet are even. Uses a knee to knee timing mechanism to initiate swing. The barrel is flat and simple to the ball. Slaps the ball around during the session. Stays in his legs, and under control. Ran a 4.09 thirty at the event. The tools are good and second base is his primary position. Good follow as he works at it.
Tee Exit Velo- 72 mph
INF Velo- 76 mph
2/20/16
5-foot-4, 130-pound thin athletic frame, has plenty of room to add strength on. A left-handed hitting middle infielder. Offensively, hits with an even to a slightly closed stance. Hands are set at the shoulders, are loose and work freely through the zone. Drove the ball back through the middle, took two real good rounds of BP. Shows some bat speed and whip out from front, the tee exit velocity was 68 mph, it's better than that, with a ton more in there. Could stay balanced a little more, he leans over. Defensively, shows soft hands with a clean arm. Clocked at 71 mph across the diamond. Turned it well from the second base side, which is his natural position. Strength is a must, ran a 4.28 from home to first. Someone to follow for the future.
