6/16/19

5-foot-8,135-pound, young, thin athletic frame, with some twitchiness,  room for future development.  A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, even feet at the shoulders, higher hands, back elbow extended out. The swing is down to level, gets through the baseball, approach is more middle to pull. Good solid swings and contact in batting practice, had a tee exit velocity of 80 mph and ran a 7.94 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, very quick behind the plate, setup is low, feet are fast in transfer. the pop time was at 2.19, arm works out of a natural slot, clocked at 72 mph. Athletic in transfer, glove hand could shorten a tick, will help in lowering pop time. Look for him to be a high-end catcher at some point.

Tee Exit Velocity: 80 mph
Arm Velocity: 72 mph
Sixty-Yard Dash: 7.94

7/24/18

5-foot-8, 135-pound, smaller, thin athletic frame. The movements and actions are smooth has room to fill out and put added weight on. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, the feet are even, wider than shoulder width, hands are loose at the shoulders, bat starting in a flat position. The lower half is under control small pick up and put down, back side needs to be engaged more. The swing is down to level, the bat head lags at times, could get barrel out front a tick sooner. Look to try and keep the hands inside the baseball more. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 73 mph and ran a 4.9 from home to first base. Defensively, had a pop time of 2.21-2.25, arm was clocked at 73 mph, tick above average for his age. The hands are soft on the catch behind the plate, clean accurate transfer into throwing hand, gains ground with foot work. The arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, arm action is super short. Strength is a must will aid in the development, looks to be good one.

Home-First: 4.90
Exit Velocity: 73 MPH
Arm Velocity: 70 MPH
