PROCASE

5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting infielder. The glove is solid as he shows soft hands and the ability to work his feet through the baseball. He threw 82 mph across the diamond out of an easy slot. The bat has an exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is even in base and he gains minimal ground to the ball as it approaches. The hands work freely, as the path is uphill through contact. He does cutoff the swing after contact. The movements are all athletic and under control. The foot speed is solid, ran a 7.2 sixty on the laser at the event.

Exit Velocity- 89 mph

INF Velocity- 82 mph

1/26/20

5-foot-11, 180-pound, strong, solid athletic frame, put together well. A left-handed hitting middle infielder. Top tool is the ability to swing the bat, drives it to all fields, showing ability to go opposite, having enough pop to beat the outfielders. The setup is balanced, simple load, controlled lower half. The swing is level to up, creating backspin to the baseball. Ran a quick 4.10 down the line, had an exit velocity of 87 mph. Defensively, threw 80 mph, showing enough strength to stick on the left-side. Actions and movements were smooth on the catch, feet were active and clean. Showed feel for the double play starts and turns. Look for him to be able to play multiple positions at the next level, brings a ton of value.

Tee Exit Velocity: 87 mph

Arm Velocity: 80 mph

Home to 1st: 4.10

8/19/19

5-foot-11, 170-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 4.65 down the line on his dig. The frame is projectable, going to be a physical player down the road. The glove is solid in the infield, feet to and through the ball needs to continue to be smoothed out. The ability to handle the pivot is present. Threw 75 mph across the diamond. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph. The setup is even in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The hands work, path is short and simple. Does a good job of staying on the ball through contact. Stays in his legs during the swing. Good looking player.

INF Velocity- 75 mph

Future Games
6-foot-1, 185-pound, strong, athletic frame. Put together well with strength throughout. A left-handed hitting infielder, top tool is the ability to swing the bat. The stance is balanced, even to slightly closed, loose strong hands, with a tilted set up. Simple lower half, backside drive through the baseball, squaring it up hard driving it middle to pull approach.  The tee exit of 89 mph and ran a 7.12 laser 60-yard dash. Collected 2 triples in game play was clocked at 4.44 down the line on a ground ball to second. Defensively, average arm, at 80 mph from across the diamond. The hands and actions are average, feet work. Played all three spots in game play, projects out to be more of an offensive second baseman at a higher level. Look for him to really hit at the next.

6/19/19

5-foot-11, 180-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder. Ran a 7.17 sixty on the laser at the event,. Threw 78 mph across the diamond during infield work. The hands are soft and his feet need to  stay active throughout the fielding process. Profiles as an offensive second baseman at the college level for me. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 83 mph, physical strength gains are needed. The setup is even in base, pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches the hitting zone. The path is simple and short to the ball.

Tee Exit Velocity - 83 mph
INF Velocity 78 mph

1/27/19

Body Type: 5-foot-11, 180-pound, solid, sloped shoulders, stronger athletic frame, wrists and hands have strength.
Hit: A left-handed hitter, feet start even, hands are loaded lower, tilt to bat and setup is strong. The lower half is clean, uses a easy leg kick, hands and weight get loaded up. The swing is short and quick to the baseball, path is flat through the zone and finishes high with one hand. The approach is gap to gap.
Power: The tee exit velocity was clocked at 87 mph, has enough pop to get the ball deep into the alleys.
Run: Ran the sixty-yard dash in 7.45, athletic kick, ran hard.
Offensive Production: Look for him to hit at the top to middle part of the order. Potential to be a doubles machine. Love the ability to spray the baseball all over the field. Looks to be a solid contact hitter, controlling the barrel.
Field: Fields out front, soft hands, clean prep steps to and through the baseball. The feeds and starts are on time with the double turns, have rhythm to them. The backhand play is made correct.
Arm: The arm was clocked at 78 mph, life and carry across the diamond. Showed a quick release, little wasted movement.
Defensive Production: Projects out for me as more of a corner infielder, I think he would end up being a tremendous first baseman long term, bat is going to play. Looks to have feel up the middle, potential of being an offensive second baseman as well.

3/04/18

5-foot-11, 170-pound, average athletic frame, shoulders are rounded, actions and movements are smooth, all body parts work together, shows to have to room to fill out. A left-handed hitting infielder who has enough arm to stick on the left side, worked out from behind the plate as well. At the plate, super relaxed setup, balanced throughout, feet are even at shoulder width. The bat has some tilt to it with the trigger, hands stay back and are in a good hitting position. For timing uses a brief toe tap into a controlled stride, back half transfers the weight to the front, creating some juice to the swing. The approach is from gap to gap, baseball jumps off the bat for his age, tee exit velocity was clocked at 83 mph. The swing creates some lift, should develop into a gap power guy down the road. The ability to consistently make hard contact is advanced. Defensively, gets in a good position to field the baseball, works low to the ground, showed soft hands on the backhand play. The feet could keep moving more after the release, looks to recoil, easy fix with reps.  The arm was clocked at 78 mph, works out of a natural ¾ slot. Behind plate, had a pop time of 1.97-2.22, feet are extremely quick, arm was clocked at 70 mph, same as infield has recoil to arm. Big time prospect, should stick on the left side of infield, third base might be where he ends up.

Sixty Yard Dash: 7.36
Position Velocity: INF-78 MPH, C-70 MPH
Exit Velocity: 83 MPH
