Physical Profile/Body - 6-0, 172lbs. Lean strength, frame will support additional strength and mass with future player development.
Hit - Balanced, relaxed stance. Controlled stride and slight wrapping load push the hands back at foot strike. On plane early with a gap to gap approach. Good feel for the barrel.
Power - 86 mph exit velocity (tee). Consistent line drive contact with occasional elevation.
Running/Speed - 7.32 sixty time (laser). 4.06 H/F.
Glove - Smooth defender with twitchy hands. Soft hands field the ball out front and funnel quickly to a point at the belt. Taps the glove as he gathers and gets the ball out.
Arm - 73 mph infield velocity. Showed ability to make accurate throws from multiple arm slots and body positions. OTT arm slot.
Summary- Projectible build, with upside remaining. Not a burner but runs underway, athletic in his actions across the board. Could defend at multiple infield positions, profiles more as a 3B/2B at this time, but could play SS if needed. Quality hit tool. Showed ability to handle the bat and drive pitches to all fields.
6-0, 172lbs with sloped shoulders and moderate projection remaining. 7.56 sixty time. 89 mph exit velocity (tee). 73 mph infield velocity. RHH starts with an even stance, feet at the shoulders, and higher hand set. Small leg kick and short stride push the hands back and wrap the barrel slightly. Showed the ability to get on plane early and stay behind the ball. Consistent line drive contact with natural lift through contact. Gap to gap power present with potential to make a jump. Solid defender at 3B/2B could play SS in a pinch. Low fielding presentation, gets the glove out front and works to field the ball just inside the left leg. Clean exchanges with sure hands. Maintains momentum throughout the fielding process and delivered accurate throws to 1B with a short arm action and OTT arm slot. Avg. arm strength has room for improvement.
6-foot, 167 pounds. Loose, athletic player that showed fundamentally sound skills at the plate. Looks the part in the box, good tempo, confident look. Hands work free and easy. Line drive approach that saw plenty of success over the weekend.
