Mannino stands at 5-foot-11, 165-pounds. Has a real lean and athletic build. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Recorded an exit velo of 72 MPH. Offensively, starts in an open stance with his knees bent. Hands begin just above shoulder height, away from his body. Creates pre-pitch rhythm with his hands. Hands stay locked in position through his load. Big leg kick, inverts his front leg. Gets to foot strike quickly, stays on time. Athletic hands, is able to hit line drives to all fields. Defensively, took reps both in the infield and behind the plate. In the infield, recorded a velo of 77 MPH across the diamond. Athletic approach to the baseball, uses short and choppy steps just as he is about to field the ball. Transfers the ball at his midsection. Behind the plate, recorded a top velo of 72 MPH on throws to bases. Feet work quickly to get into position to throw, stay in direction with his target. Brings the baseball to his chest, where his transfer occurs. Made on target throws using a short arm action and a high 3/4 arm slot. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.13-2.21 seconds.
