6/13/18 - Max FB: 79, FB: 77-79, Avg FB: 77.14, CB: 64-66, SL: 68-71
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHP needed just 20 pitches to work 2 scoreless innings.  Medium, athletic, well-proportioned frame w/ super projectable frame.  Has not scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the third base side of the rubber.  Back leg along for the ride, will see a velo jump as he learns to consistently engage his lower half.  Upright finish w/ some deception.  Downhill plane.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Was pitching 79-82, touching 83 four times earlier this spring as velocity was down in this outing.  Medium downer CB flashed proper shape.  SL moved more like a power CB, featuring more vertical movement than lateral movement.  Strike-thrower filled the zone, 14 of 20 pitches for strikes.  Projects to command his 3-pitch mix.  Generated 3 swing and misses on 10 swings.

6/13/18 - Home-1st: 4.56, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 81
6-foot-2, 175-pound, RHH showed some pull power in BP.  Medium, athletic, well-proportioned frame w/ super projectable frame.  Has not scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, very slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into leg kick and low hand load.  Generates bat speed through the zone w/ some stiffness, near arm bar.  Pull oriented approach.  Learning to incorporate lower half, tends to be along for the ride.  As he learns to engage it consistently, will see improved exit velocities and improved swing consistency.  Projectable pull power.  Projectable average runner.  Defensively, moves well at 1B w/ solid hands, carry to target arm strength.  Intriguing 2-way prospect.

6/14/17 - Home-1st: 4.35, Position Velocity:  IF-74, Exit Velocity: 81
6-foot-2, 150-pound, RHH has a long and wiry frame, starts balanced and uses a longer stride to load, lower half works very well and creates separation, swing plane is slightly up through the zone and produces consistent line drives, gap potential down the road.  Defensively, showed above average hands and footwork around the bag, stays under control and made good throws, arm action is short with a tiny hitch  at times.
