8/5/18 - 60: 6.60, Position Velocity: OF: 89, Exit Velocity: 93

OF showed potential for all 5 tools w/ a bat that has taken a big step forward since we saw him this spring and this summer.  5-11, 170-pounder features a medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential, loaded with quick twitch.  Offensively, hits w/ an open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into double stride (occasionally takes on the nature of a toe tap) to slightly open and proper hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone.  Quiet head w/ knack for contact, feel for barrel.  Took consistently impressive BP, going gap to gap with line drives to all fields and back-spun baseballs.  Power potential, mostly pull side and relies on his plus running speed to leg out extra bases.  Defensively, shows the tools to play CF, profiles as an above average defender.  Was not tested when he played CF, showed developing bat reads in RF.  Easy arm strength w/ carry through target, hit 89 twice.  Intriguing combination of speed and arm strength.

6/24/18 - 60 Time: 6.56, Position Velocity:  OF-84, Exit Velocity: 87
5-foot-11, 170-pound, LHH showed exciting tools w/ growth potential.  Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned present strength, some physical projection.  Live, quick-twitch frame.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride and short hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone.  Developing hitter, learning to repeat same swing every time, control his lower half.  Flashes a simple, repeatable swing w/ proper bat path.  Line drives to all fields when right.  Power in the swing, projectable pull power w/ ability to drive the baseball.  Plus-plus runner translated his speed to the bases in the spring.  Impact CF tools w/ speed and projectable carry through target arm strength.
