6/14/16 - 60 Time: 6.87, Position Velocity:  OF-91, IF-86, Exit Velocity: 80
5'11, 175-pound, RHH hits from a tall and barely open stance and uses a unique double stride and a subtle barrel tilt to establish his load.  Lower half fires but doesn’t quite get all the way through, causing him to come around some balls in BP, hands are good and allow him to get through balls on plane with the potential for some gap-to-gap power, ability to hit the balls to all areas of the field.  Defensively, was able to really show off his athleticism through his versatility.  In the outfield, used an aggressive approach to the ball and his ability to work through it to his advantage, used a long and loose arm action through an over-the-top arm slot to show off a very strong arm with a lot of life.  In the infield, showed the ability to play multiple positions and wide range of tools with his sure hands and quickness, footwork could be brushed up.  Brown is one of the top uncommitted 2017 graduates.

6/10/15 - The 5 foot 11, 160-pound prospect posted a 7.10 60 time. Defensively Brown had a position velocity of 86 mph from the outfield and 87 mph across the infield.  Brown showed good arm strength from a high ¾ arm slot with accuracy on his throws with a quick exchange. Has quick footwork and plays through the ball. Offensively Brown shows average to fast bat speed with an 82 mph exit velocity off of the tee from the right side. Hits from a balanced setup with a short stride. Brown has a short path to the ball and is a line drive type hitter with an aggressive approach, shows good projectability. Brown went 1-for-4 in game play with a single. As a pitcher, athletic build, works through a ¾ to high ¾ arm slot, quick arm, throws across body with some effort in delivery and tends to fall off hard first base side, fastball sat 79-82 mph touching 84 once, showed a 64-66 mph curveball with 11/5 action and a 69-71 mph changeup, allowed one hit, walked one, and struck out one in his inning of work.
