6’1, 170-pound infielder showed strong improvement since we last saw him in January, improving his exit velocity by 4 ticks and his infield velocity by 5 ticks. Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, projectable. Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm (occasional active hands) into short toe tap and short hand load. Generates bat speed through the zone. Learning to get lower half involved consistently, appears to just be along for the ride at times. Line drive oriented approach, at his best to all fields, gets pull heavy at times. Projectable gap power type. Defensively, moves well on the dirt, glove-tapper w/ solid hands and projectable carry to target arm strength.
6-foot-1, 160-pound projectable frame. In the box, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 80 mph. Sets up in a tall stance and used a toe tap. Has a flat swing plane, his bat speed is quick. In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 74 mph; has smooth feet and a clean exchange. In the infield, his best throw was recorded at 70 mph across the field; has sure hands. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.9.
