6-0, 185-pound middle infielder was the lone uncommitted 2019 position player to attend and jumped out for the progression in his game, showing improvement across the board. Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, some physical projection. Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm into short stride and proper load. Still head w/ simple, repeatable swing. All fields approach w/ lot of line drives. Shows some pull power in BP. A known commodity as a player, plays hard and above his tools based on looks last spring. Intriguing all-around offensive player w/ present gap power and swing repeatability. As a middle infielder, moves well w/ good footwork, soft hands and projectable carry to target arm strength. Tools to be an above average defender at 2B. Checks off a lot of boxes this former college recruiter looks for in a MIF. Is part of a strong Knoxville Catholic senior class that should be a must see for college recruiters this spring.

6-foot-0, 170-pound, RHH shows intriguing all-around skillset. Medium, athletic frame w/ some present strength, lot of projection. Can get significantly stronger. Offensively, hits from an open, very slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location. Short bat waggle. Stride to square w/ short hand load. Proper bat path w/ extension, flashes back-spin. Stays through the ball w/ lower half, well synced swing. Projects to hit for average. Ultimate power ceiling will be determined by frame development, present doubles power, projects for pull HR power. Defensively, shows good hands and feet w/ arm strength w/ carry to target. Plays through the ball well.
