8/19/18 - Home-1st: 4.38, Position Velocity:  OF-84, Exit Velocity: 91
5-foot-10, 170-pound, RHH showed off a number of tools.  Medium, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential, built like a corner back in football.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into short shift of weight, leg kick and short hand load where the hands drop.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone.  Hands stayed higher in the state championship game this spring, where he made more consistent hard contact in game, should be an easy adjustment to return to that.  Flashes plus bat speed in game w/ some whip.  Working to consistently engage lower half.  At his best when delivering line drives gap to gap.  Projectable all fields power w/ some feel for back-spin.  Above average runner gets to top speed quickly.  Uses that speed to cover ground in CF, working gap to gap w/ projectable carry through target arm strength.
7/5/17 - 60 Time: 6.69, Position Velocity:  OF-86, Exit Velocity: 87
5-10, 170-pound, RHH turned some heads at the event, hits from a wider and slightly open stance with weight in his legs, uses a gather and a long stride, lower half fires and keeps him low and strong, swing plane is flat to slightly up through contact, showed gap power with the ability to drive the ball. Defensively, showed soft hands and fluid footwork in the outfield, played through the ball with confidence and used an athletic arm action through a near over-the-top slot to produce strong and accurate throws.  Earned an invitation to the Future Games.

Max FB: 83, FB: 79-83, CB: 68-73
5-10, 170-pound, RHP threw exclusively out of the stretch, used a high leg lift and a big load at the top that creates a little bit of tilt before heading to the plate, arm action is a little longer and comes through a high 3/4 slot.  Fastball was mostly straight but located well and his curveball showed 12/6 to 11/5 shape with sharp and late break through the zone for strikes.

9/4/16 - Max FB: 83, FB: 80-83, CB: 67-70,
5-foot-9, 155-pound, RHP uses a consistent and compact delivery that he makes look easy and repeatable, uses a fairly high leg lift and gather at the top, drives toward the plate with his front hip, stays fairly tall throughout delivery and finish, strides in line with the plate and falls toward the 1B line on his follow through, athletic movements and arm action produce a high ¾ release point. Fastball was heavy through the zone with occasional run and usually spotted up, curveball showed 12/6 action and was usually sharp with fastball arm speed, consistent strikes with both pitches.

9/4/16 - Home-1st: 4.59, Position Velocity:  IF-84, Exit Velocity: 86
5-foot-9, 155-pound, RHH hits from a wide and balanced stance, uses just a slight pick-up and sit-down of his front foot and a drop and push back of his hands to get loaded, lower half does a good job of firing through the zone while keeping him behind the ball, good separation helps him get the barrel on plane and through the ball, sprayed line drives all over the field in BP, pretty strong kid. Defensively, showed average hands and footwork at shortstop, fielded some balls flat-footed and could have played through it better, should allow himself to use more of his athleticism, longer arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top release produced good throws with solid arm strength across the infield. Athletic enough to make a dent in the 2019 class.
