9/25/16 - 60 Time: 7.00, Position Velocity:  IF-78, Exit Velocity: 78
6-foot-1, 160-pound, RHH hits from a slightly wider and open stance with some higher initial hand positioning than we’ve seen from him in the past, uses an abbreviated leg kick and stride with hardly any hand movement to get loaded, lower half works on occasion but often times holds him back and doesn’t allow him the separation he could be getting, swing path is a little steeper than we’ve seen because of how high his hands are coming from, was able to spray some line drives around in BP.  Defensively, continued to show good hands and footwork with the ability to play through the ball, solid player showed a clean exchange and short arm action through a high ¾ to over-the-top slot to deliver accurate throws across the infield.

6/14/16 - 60 Time: 7.28, Position Velocity:  IF-79, Exit Velocity: 78
6'1, 182-pound, RHH hits from a balanced and slightly open stance and uses a gathering leg kick to get himself started.  Doesn’t use much of a hand load but does get a little movement going, lower half gets through but could be more explosive, doesn’t get full extension.  Line drive hitter with ability to hit the ball to both sides of the field.  Defensively, shows soft hands and fluid footwork in his approach to the ball, works through it well and delivers a firm and accurate throw across the infield from a high ¾ arm angle.  Solid player.

1/18/16 - 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitter hits from an athletic and slightly open stance with somewhat of a small leg kick that conducts a short and strong stroke that produces good pop, gap-to-gap approach with much more power potential than his 75 mph exit velocity off the tee would suggest, timing was late on a few occasions but shows very good upside offensively.  Defensively, showed steady hands and efficient arm action to get the ball across the infield at 78 mph from a high-3/4 arm slot, overall footwork was sufficient.  Johnson ran a 7.35 60-yard dash and is a solid prospect with the potential to play 3B at the next level as well as his current 2B position.
