10/11/15 - 6-foot-3, 180-pound right handed pitcher with a good athletic frame, fastball sat 84-86mph with very good arm side run to it. Phillps showed a good change up that sat at 70mph with good downward sink to it. He also showed a good 11/5 late breaking curveball at 71-72 mph, all pitches coming from a ¾ arm slot. Phillips stayed low in the zone and fielded his position exceptionally well, had three strikeouts and gave up three hits in three innings pitched for the maroon team. Phillips committed to Tennessee Tech following the event.
