Another big JUCO recruit for the Sooners, Miller teamed with Zane Morehouse (Texas) to lead Dyersburg State to a 40-5 overall record last spring. The 6-foot-4 right-hander ran his fastball up to 95 mph in the MLB Draft League this summer, averaging 2400-plus rpm (2591 max). He also eclipsed 2700 rpm with a curveball that flashed plus with downer bite at 77-81 mph and flashed a slider that was 2600-plus rpm. At Dyersburg last spring, Miller posted a 7-1 record with 87 strikeouts in 53.2 IP. He profiles to the back end of what should be a deep and high velocity Sooner bullpen this spring.
