9/30/18 - Home-1st: 4.93, Pop Time: 1.84-1.94, Position Velocity:  C-74, Exit Velocity: 84
6-foot-3, 210-pound, RHH continued to show off his advanced defensive ability, both as a thrower and a receiver.  Tall, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, upper body projection.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into stride and no hand load.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Would benefit from some hand separation via a hand load to create a better attack angle to the baseball.  Can get rotational and uphill in his swing at times.  Pull oriented approach w/ some natural loft.  Projectable pull power as the frame develops.  Defensively, presents a quality low target just under the knees.  Shows ability to stick the baseball, beat the breaking ball to it’s spot.  Advanced receiver knows how to frame, manipulate his glove.  As a thrower, features carry through target arm strength w/ good footwork, accurate.

8/5/18 - 60: 7.76, Position Velocity: C: 79, Exit Velocity: 91, Pop Times: 1.91-1.97

C continued to show his elite receiving ability and all-around above average defensive skill-set.  6-3, 210-pounder features a tall frame w/ well-proportioned present strength, some physical projection.  Close to mature frame.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, slightly crouched stance w/ hand rhythm and weight on his back-side into stride and short hand load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone, shows ability to hit the ball hard when on time.  Struggled with timing during the event.  Short bat wrap creates a little length.  Barrel stays in the zone for a long time.  Learning to consistently get lower half involved and through the baseball.  Projectable all fields power.  Bit of a project offensively, but has untapped offensive potential.  Defensively, presents a solid low target, flashing a big target at times, which we discussed prior to game 2.  Advanced receiver with strong fore-arms, shows ability to stick the baseball and steal strikes w/ quiet movements, understanding of how to move his glove and present many pitches as strikes, even with pitchers he has not caught before.  Mobile with ability to box the baseball, keep the ball in front.  As a thrower, was not tested in game, shows quick release w/ arm strength w/ carry to target.  Accurate thrower, shows ability to put the ball on the bag.

7/24/18 - Home-1st: 4.88, Position Velocity:  C-76, Exit Velocity: 85
