5/31/19

6-foot-3, 180 pounds. Quick to balance point, short take away and arm action. Quick  arm with heavy ball. Stays on line. Impressed with FB that sat 84-86,T87 with arm side run. Flashed 10/6 CB at 72. Sinking CH at 75.

6/27/18 - Max FB: 83, FB: 81-83, CB: 68-70, CH: 70-72
6-foot-3, 180-pound, RHP showed off his projectable frame and feel for 3 pitches.  Tall, athletic frame w/ present strength throughout, super projectable.  Prototypical pitcher frame.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Throws across his body w/ quick arm.  Clean, repeatable delivery.  Downhill plane.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape, rotation.  CH w/ fade and sink, occasional arm-speed.  Around the zone w/ all 3 pitches, projects to command.

6/27/18 - 60 Time: 7.81, Position Velocity:  IF-81, Exit Velocity: 85
6-foot-3, 180-pound, LHH showed intriguing bat speed.  Tall, athletic frame w/ present strength throughout, super projectable.  Prototypical pitcher frame.  Offensively, hits w/ a straight on, upright stance w/ short hand rhythm into short leg kick and proper load.  Generates bat speed through the zone.  Unique leg kick occasionally causes him to open up early with his lower half.  Has shown ability to repeat his swing in game.  Pull oriented approach w/ ability to drive the baseball.  Projectable pull power.  Defensively, moves well at 1B w/ solid hands and carry to target arm strength.  Has the athleticism to play a corner OF spot if necessary.

1/27/18 - Max FB: 82, FB: 80-81, CB: 66, CH: 65-67
6-foot-3, 175-pound, RHP shows quick arm w/ projectable frame.  Tall, athletic build w/ some present strength, lot of physical projection.  Just scratching the surface of his frame potential, lot of growth coming.  Prototypical pitcher build.  Pitches from a full wind-up w/ short rocker step into first base side of the rubber.  Leg kick w/ knee even w/ chest into leg drive and H ¾ release w/ upright finish.  Glove gets to the right spot, but can get there in a more efficient way that will add a tick.  Quick arm w/ loose arm stroke.  FB is straight w/ occasional ride through zone.  Medium downer CB w/ proper rotation.  Developing feel for the CH, will occasionally slow his whole body down.  Around the zone with 3, projects to fill the zone.  Very intriguing 2020 arm that will make a jump this calendar year.

1/27/18 - Home-1st: 4.41, Position Velocity:  IF-75, Exit Velocity: 83
6-foot-3, 175-pound, RHH shows projectable frame w/ power.  Tall, athletic build w/ some present strength, lot of physical projection.  Just scratching the surface of his frame potential, lot of growth coming.  Offensively, hits from a straight up, slightly closed stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Short bat waggle.  Small shift of weight, toe tap w/ mini leg kick and short load.  Proper bat path w/ natural loft.  Size of mini leg kick after toe tap varies.  When on time, shows ability to drive the baseball.  Pull oriented approach w/ power.  Defensively, shows solid hands and feet w/ loose arm strength.  Some stiffness in the hips, would benefit from agility work to help loosen them and increase flexibility.
