Uncommitted; 6-foot-3, 165-pound left-handed pitcher, long, lanky frame, athletically built, showed a lot of feel on the mound, controlled the zone with his fastball, found the edges of the zone and located effectively. Previously, shown the ability to mix three offerings while pitching in the low 80s, but a velo uptick across the board has Tomlinson surging. Arm plays short and loose to a high ¾ slot, creates deception hiding the ball well on the back-side. Fastball sat 83-85, touched 86. His offspeed is showing improved velocity as well with the CB at 66-71 and CH at 75-77, allowing those to play up a bit more by getting more action/bite.  Not many mid-80s lefties on the board for the senior class, so top prospect in the uncommitted market.

Did not need to show much of a breaking ball with how he was locating his fastball.

The 6-foot-1, 140-pound Tomlinson is a wiry, high-waisted southpaw, who showed good pitchability at Top Prospect Games.  One the bump, he has a quiet, repeatable delivery w/ good arm speed from a low 3/4 slot. Fastball was 74-76 to go w/ a sweeping curveball (64-65) and changeup (72-73).  Potential velocity jump if he limits drop-n-drive w/ lower half, however, showed promise w/ command and tunneling 3-pitch mix.
