9/30/18 - Max FB: 78, FB: 75-77, CB: 64-68
6-foot-2, 180-pound, RHP worked two 1-2-3 innings.  Tall, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into over the top release from the first base side of the rubber.  Lower half is just along for the ride, throws with nearly all arm.  Some effort in the throw.  Downhill angle.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Medium downer CB w/ proper shape and rotation.  Around the zone w/ the FB, didn’t command the CB as well as we have seen in the past on this day.  Projects to command.
9/30/18 - Home-1st: 4.94, Position Velocity:  IF-77, Exit Velocity: 81
6-foot-2, 180-pound, RHH picked up a couple hits in game.  Tall, athletic frame w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ short hand rhythm into leg kick and short hand load.  Generates bat speed through the zone w/ some natural loft.  Pull oriented approach w/ lot of line drives when right.  Gap power type w/ projectable pull power.  Defensively, shows solid footwork w/ some length in his release w/ a glove tap and arm strength w/ carry to target.
7/24/18 - Max FB: 77, FB: 73-77, CB: 64-66
6-foot-1, 165-pound, RHP generated 3 swing and misses on 10 swings.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Lot of moving parts coming at the hitter, including an unconventional leg kick which involves him leading with his knee to the plate as opposed to his hips.  Arm works, better arm-speed than present velocity indicates a jump could be coming.  Learning how to get lower half consistently involved, is just along for the ride.  Downhill.  Straight FB shows occasional short arm-side run.  Medium downer CB flashes proper shape and rotation, occasionally rolls out of his hand.  Around the zone, needed just 22 pitches to work his 2 innings.
7/24/18 - Home-1st: 4.75, Position Velocity:  IF-76, Exit Velocity: 76
6-foot-1, 165-pound, RHH showed solid defensive actions.  Medium, athletic frame w/ some present lower half strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ a slightly open, slightly crouched stance w/ hand and front foot rhythm into leg kick to slightly closed.  Learning to keep lower half consistently involved.  Lot of movement with the swing w/ occasional length.  Projectable pull power.  Defensively, shows solid actions w/ solid hands, feet and projectable arm strength.
1/16/17 - 60 Time: 7.77, Exit Velocity: 65
6-foot-0, 152-pound, RHH hits from a more narrow and open stance with loose hands that seem to lay the barrel back a little bit before the pitch, uses a pretty generic stride with a push back of his hands to get loaded, lower half gets his backside through but often pulls his body forward and out on top of his front leg, swing plane comes into the zone a little steep but can flatten near contact, drags the barrel at times and produces a lot of ground balls up the middle.  Defensively, showed above-average hands and footwork in the infield, made a conscious effort to play through the ball, had some arm trouble and wasn’t able to cut any throws loose.
