8/16/15 - The 5 foot 11, 190-pound prospect posted a 7.40 60 time and had a 76 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively, Williams showed short arm action, accuracy on throws, soft hands, fluid footwork around the bag and shows good overall athletic ability at first base. Offensively, Williams has fast bat speed from the left side and had an 87 mph exit velocity off the tee. Williams hits from an open setup, has a short stride, explodes from his lower half while maintain good balance, line drive type hitter with flashes of gap power. Williams went 1-for-4 during game play and had an impressive round of batting practice. He has a disciplined but aggressive approach at the plate. On the mound, the lefty shows an agile athletic frame and strong legs. Throws from a high-¾ arm slot, repeats delivery well with a short rocker step into balanced delivery. His fastball sat at 80-82mph with cutting action.  Likes to work fastball in on the hands of right-handed hitters. Showed a 1/7 curveball that sat at 68-69mph with late sharp break. Changeup at 69-70mph with good arm side run and deception. He threw one perfect inning with one strikeout at the event.
